How to find it?
To find a KPI report for a company, first search the company is our search bar. For more info on that, check out our Search Feature Blog. Then, look under Finanicals and KPI’s and click KPI’s as seen below. And done!
How is this feature helpful?
In this report we are showing revenue and profitability breakdowns by segment and geography if available for Stock:
- Segment split analysis is a crucial component in understanding the underlying business engines that drive a company’s performance. By examining the revenue breakdown across different segments, it becomes easier to perform a comprehensive valuation and gain insights into the growth trends and profitability of each engine.
- This understanding enables investors to conduct a more accurate sum-of-parts valuation, evaluating the worth of each segment separately and deriving a more comprehensive picture of the company’s overall value. By analyzing the segment split, investors can identify the drivers of growth within the business and determine the profitability of each engine, aiding in making informed investment decisions.
- Additionally, the geographical split provides a breakdown of revenue generated from various regions, giving a clear understanding of which areas are driving growth and where potential opportunities exist.
For example, take the stock for Amazon. If we open it KPI, it should look something like this:
